Autobiography of Dr. Surendra K L

U R Visitor No.2197

Introduction:

Mr.steve job (CEO, Apple and Pixar animation) defined life as a line which connects the
dots where dots are nothing but precious moments of our life which actually
provided many signals to realize, our own self. Even my life too, has been blessed
with many such dots, which I term as “gems.” These gems have actually guided me and
are guiding me, to move deeper and deeper into the inner world and to move higher
and higher in the external world.

My Childhood:

I was born in a Arya Vysya family on 26 July 1984 at chelur, a grama(village) in
kolar district.
When I was born, our family was in lower socio-economic status. In
fact when I was 10 days old infant my parents were thrown out from the joint family
they lived in before. Our family was known for the hotel/restaurant business, at my
native for 3-4 decades then. After separating from the joint family my parents
started a small hotel in a hut with an investment of 3000 rupees in 1984. So I was
born POOR!!!

My first teacher, the first & foremost individual who instilled individuality into me,
has been my mother, Bhudeevi. Like the ‘bhudeevi’ (the earth-goddess), she is known
for her patience. My mom believes in ‘advaith siddantha’ and always inspired me to
live with courage, to be honest always and entire credit for spiritual and
patriotic thinking of mine, it is she who holds the credit. When I fell from a
bicycle while learning, when I suffered from dog bite, when I met with electric
injury ... & in innumerous such situations, one individual who showed utmost care
and encouragement is my second teacher, my god, my ‘father’, Laxmi narayana . The
qualities which I inherited from my dad are to be wealthy, to work hard (shrama
samskruthi). The only objective in their life is “the happiness of me & my sister”.
We never felt the slightest shadow of financial crisis, under the light of our
parents’ care and love for us.

I still remember those days, we use to open the hotel at 12 A.M in the night because
after second show 2 to 3 customers used to come and 10 to 20 rupees of business
could be generated. Even I used to work at hotel. I spent my entire childhood at
this hotel itself. This is only one side of the coin. On the other side, I was not
a good student up to 7th standard. I never got more than seven and half marks out
of 12 and half (60%). I used to steal money from hotel on many occasions. When I
was in 6th standard, my parents came to know about this and I came to know, that
they got to know about it. I then decided not to go back home, and for one complete
day and the following night I slept on the terrace of my school. The workers at my
hotel, my teachers and my parents started searching for me. Finally, I was caught
at the school terrace and they took me home immediately.

The Rewarding Punishment:

After reaching home, I went inside the store room and locked myself. My then school
head-master, came near the window of that room and called me to open the door. I
did not open the door, & stayed there, in that room, for more than 36 hours. Later
I could not tolerate the hunger, finally I opened the door. I was expecting tons of
beatings, from my parents, instead they started talking to me with greater love &
affection. Even after this incident, I stole money from my house, & then on a fine
day my headmaster punished me for this in open ground, in front of all the
students. It was that day when I felt very ashamed and eventually I left that ‘bad
habit’. My school friends, used to avoid me for all these reasons.

When I completed high school, many individuals’ character became building blocks
for my character in life. My sweetest friends UMESH and PADMINI taught me, to
differentiate right and wrong. My high school teachers, encouraged me as they
would have encouraged their own child. ‘T.L.R’, My maths teacher, & Sudhamani
madam who would stay deep down in my heart forever. The spiritual gurus who used to
come to my house, the guidance of my parents, a series of telugu movies which I
watched those days and every possible incident changed my attitude and behavior in
life.

I started reading magazines, started participating in school events, started learning
karate (BROWN BELT), I have done ‘Hindi ratna’, and I started studying really well
and over a period of time, I became a good student and came proudly boast today
that I passed out of that same school where I was punished in an open ground - with
“best out going student award” from Kishore Samyuktha Proudashale with distinction
in S.S.L.C(kannada medium).

My life at Bangalore:

Because of the influence for neighbours, my parents sent me to Bangalore, for my
further studies in 1999. When I came first time to Bangalore, it was a terrible
experience for me to digest the lifestyle of people here, above that, the
intellectual students here, the kind of culture, media, and movies, all these,
increased my fear inside towards facing life itself. I did not get seat, in any
good college. After a lot of difficulty, I got a seat in a newly opened college
then, “SURANA college(PUC)". With kumkum on my forehead, sandals in my feet, full-
sleeved shirt which used to be folded till fore arms & not tucked in, with anxious
expression in the face, slurred speech, & poor individuality I started my studies
in bangalore. Expect kannada, I never used to understand any other subject.

Scene: 1st day at my college: Biology class – I still remember, Teacher was explaining
the “parts of microscope”, he suddenly asked me to repeat the names of the parts;
while doing the same, I told ‘ice piece’ instead of eye piece! Every body laughed
at me (could help then!). But I did not understand, why they laughed at me that
day. I still remember I cried up to 2 A.M in the morning.

Scene 2nd day of college: Again it was biology class, teacher was explaining about
roots. He was teaching about onion and garlic. I was not knowing, what the meaning
of onion and garlic was
, and how could I translate that in kannada! So, I asked my
friend who was sitting next to me. He laughed at me saying “you do not know, what
an onion is?” Many similar situations, I had to face in the first 3 months .

In 1st test I failed in all subjects, expect kannada. Gradually a kind of phobia of
people, developed in me and I would enter depression many a times. Home-sickness
and unsupportive surroundings, blurred my vision, & suppressed my potential.
Fortunately after some time my physics and English teachers at SURANA College
understood my inabilities and they started, counselling me. I learnt subjects at
physics lab where teachers used to teach me individually. Yes...! Literally life
took a U turn. I started studying well, I once again, became a good student, with
71.00% .

But with 13148 CET medical rank and 14619 engineering rank.
Story again went to origin itself.

Hmmm! Again lot of internal struggle and depression surrounded me. I did not even
get a dental seat and my health also got mildly detoriated. I was admitted in a
hospital for 3 days, where I got very impressed with the service system, involved
in medicine and therefore I decided to withdraw my PU marks and envisioned myself
as a great doctor.

I studied for 1 more year with double the struggle and fortunately I got 89.6% in
PCB with 1961 CET medical rank and I got medical seat at one of the top 2 institute
of Karnataka i.e. K.I.M.S.Bangalore.

My Home away from Home-CVMS Hostel:

CVMS is not actually hostel for me and my friends. In fact, it is more than my house.
Our hostel is an extremely liberal hostel, where we are provided, with luxurious
facilities, with growth inducing environment. One of the donors for our hostel,
Sir Sri.S.V.S.S Subramanya Guptha, the managing director of Advaith Hyundai motors,
is a very noble individual and a gem of a person. He has served as a great
inspiration for me to become an entrepreneur. I studied in the hostel, since 1999
to 2008. Frankly speaking, I don’t know how to show the gratitude to this “home
beyond home.”

Life at KIMS:

MBBS - It was a journey without much aim or deeper purpose. During those days hostel
and hospital, were the world for me. First day of anatomy dissection hall, dead
body dissection, microbiology experiments, frog dissection, first post mortem,
first delivery, first day of operation theatre, first view of live death, 7 day
continuous exams, Records, medical camps, Movies between class hours, College
trips, with the feeling of pride of being a medical student and many other simple
enjoyable moments is how I spent my 3 years as a medical student. I spent it just-
like-that.

TURNING-POINT: Entry of eBIZ in MY Life

Sep 10th 2006, birthday of one of my close-friend SHABARI JI. That day she was invited
by her friend shwetha ji for a Computer Awareness seminar. I accompanied my friend,
with Harish ji to Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan at 2:00 pm. The moment I entered, a
charming personality with awesome professional attire and glowing kumkum on
forehead, was controlling the crowd. This situation itself, gave a homely outlook
to me. My intuition said, this is the place, where I belonged to!!! Need not to
make a mention, that it was a “eBIZ seminar” and that charming personality was none
other than Mr.Sumit Lalwani Ji. Presentation was given by Mr.Anirud goel ji and
ofcourse it was ‘heart blowing.’ I didn’t understand much, but I felt loads. RANJIT
JI followed me up; the follow up went on for 9 days with 2 to 3 hours of
discussion almost each day. And finally I surrendered to the system. I registered
on Sep 19th 2006, with 2 direct sales that is MANOJ JI and MURALI JI. One week
later SHABARI JI also registered.

Silver in 3 Months & 21 Days

My uplines told me that I should imagine the success I wanted, by imagining the
positive mental pictures, consistently in my mind. Likewise, I used to dream about
my silver position, and my silver testimony on stage, every single day. Hence, It
was no co-incidence that I became a Silver, in 3months & 21 days, with my college
friends, in my right sale organisation and my hostel friends in my left sale
organisation.

During this journey, I was also preparing, for my final MBBS exams. Vinay.N.K ji
and Ranjit ji gave me superb support, to face the negativity at the hostel and
college which was mounting up each day. One day, I invited my close friend VARUN JI
by giving a spiritual invitation (invitation that related ebiz to spirituality, for
more information contact me) with 100% no hopes for the registration. VARUN JI was
impressed by SUMITH JI’S success (both were friends in PUC) and also by the product
and he logged in. Because of RANJIT JI’S technical cum logical presentation the
most negative guest of my hostel ESHWAR JI also registered. Up to silver status my
journey was like rocket, with superb commitment and solid consistency. I gave my
silver testimony on 24th dec 2006 at Vijaya nagar library auditorium. I gave a
patriotic testimony, where Sumit ji was also present and Vinay ji took the
presentation that day.

Memorable moments in my journey to silver.

3 weeks later after my registration, I saw Sujit ji at G.M .Rejoyz Auditorium and I
was damn impressed by his thinking big attitude. I still remember, that day me,
Shabari ji, Murali ji & Manoj ji were with Sujit ji. Sujit ji was inspiring us,
standing outside G.M.Rejoyz, under the street light, till 11pm. That day I took an
autograph from Sujit ji and that was the first day I ever met him.

Silver To Gold

Its a journey where I faced a lot of problems, only and only because of my poor
perception about them and a sort of complacency that had set in. That’s why,
inspite of good momentum and training, I took 7 months to achieve the next level.
MANOJ JI and HARISH JI were my silvers for my GOLD level. In this phase I mainly
learnt, how to battle out negativities and to drive myself in negative
surroundings.

I suffered a lot because of my highly intellectual but foolish, ultra negative,
theoretical patriots & highly unsupportive hostel mates. Poor financial and
personal management also disturbed my confidence in this phase. 6 hours long
discussion with SUMIT JI and 2 hours of discussion with SUJIT JI at Navarang coffee
day, were the most productive ones, which provided me with wings to fly away from
all my problems. My 360 degree turn in eBIZ took place and I completed my gold on
15 June 2007.

Gold to Diamond:

During this phase we started with MANDYA and KOLAR seminars, in a big way. Myself,
Varun ji & Eshwar ji alternatively gave seminars at these places. It took 6 months
for me, to jump up to the diamond level. During this phase my internal growth
happened in a tremendous way with a little practical participation. Eshwar ji with Sunil ji &
Varun ji with Lady leaders (Manasa ji, laxmi ji, Anushaji & their team) & Pawan ji,
took care of the upcoming networks at KOLAR and MANDYA really well,
respectively .

MOST INSPIRING MOMENT OF MY LIFE.

Since my birth till date, no moment can match this particular ‘gem’ of my life.
Myself and 30 associates of from my team, went to eBIZ convention at BHOPAL. The
journey was completed in train. It was a fun filled, emotional cum educational
journey that we had till BHOPAL. The most highlighting SPARK of the convention, was
Undoubtably SUJIT LALWANI JI’S talk on the stage of Bhopal Convention.

On the first day of convention we were waiting for SUJIT JI to take up stage, since
morning. Before, the appearance of every leader on stage, we used to expect SUJIT
JI and used to shout for him - SUJIT JI.. SUJIT JI.. SUJIT JI..SUJIT JI.. SUJIT
JI..SUJIT JI.. SUJIT JI..SUJIT JI.. SUJIT JI..SUJIT JI.. SUJIT JI..SUJIT JI.. SUJIT
JI..SUJIT JI.. SUJIT JI..SUJIT JI.. SUJIT JI..SUJIT JI.. SUJIT JI..SUJIT JI.. SUJIT
JI..SUJIT JI.. SUJIT JI..SUJIT JI.. SUJIT JI..SUJIT JI.. SUJIT JI.. SUJIT JI..
BANGALORE.... BANGALORE.... BANGALORE.... BANGALORE.... BANGALORE.... BANGALORE....
BANGALORE.... BANGALORE....!!!

Though we had sleepless nights and hungry stomachs, the tsunami of energy levels
with flow of adrenaline circulation at peaks, made us wait for SUJIT JI’s arrival
till 8:30 PM in the night, the LEGEND arrived, the total positive cosmic energy
of the universe united under the Shamiyana at the convention. 35 mins - the heart
rate of every eBIZER were triggered like continuous gunshots. Eyes went wet, hair
raised, some super natural glow got instilled in every eBIZ soul. My mind, My
heart, My thinking... My entire physiology and psychology, were surrounding his
highness ER. SUJIT LALWANI.

That day, I felt a sort of great accomplishment for this birth of mine, and that
day, somewhere deep down in my heart, I wanted to live like SUJIT JI at least for 3
seconds before my death. SUJIT JI – Hats off to you. Since then, if I ever recall
that moment, my heartbeat starts beating with confidence, pushing me towards
success. I wish everybody should get at least one such moment in life...

I am lucky to have had one such moment!!!

GOLD to DIAMOND

During this period, I learnt how to manage, both studies and eBIZ, without
compromising anything else. I took 6 months, to achieve the next level without much
difficulty but definitely I should appreciate all my down lines for their after
sale service to the network. I became DIAMOND on 24th dec 2007 with a network of
470. When my downline was around 418 I gave a call to SUJIT JI once, and it is
Since then, that I am consistently in touch with him. Believe me! in next 4 months
my organisation ripped on to generate 1000 logins.

2008 in Flashback

I can definitely claim that 2008 is the best year as far as practical learning is
concerned. Personally, my perception of life and human relationships have got
elevated to a very high plane, Professionally, I achieved milestones, & because of
my good academic and overall participation in the activities of Vasavi Trust, I was
awarded with a tag of “SPECIAL AWARDEE” in M.B.B.S. category on the occasion of
42nd GOLD medal awarding celebration of the Vasavi Union on 30th march 2008.
The
best part about this is that- I received this award, from my favourite “donor sir”
(refer text above). Emotionally, I understood more about life and I came to the
conclusion - that objective of life, should be the “present not the future”.

Organization has seen ups and downs, because of multiple factors, yet my enthusiasm
and energy are not disturbed, for which I really feel proud. Though there were no
seminars for 4 months, the team is sustained very well with ever compounding
inspirational levels.

Mandya seminars with strong lady power...
Kolar events with rural associates...
Hyderabad trips with MANOHAR JI for intellectual groups...
Mysore training sessions with emotional network...
Chikkaballpur workshops with subnormal team...
Hmm!!!... One Kerala trip, one Delhi trip, May 4th seminar...
Silvers and above meet at st.marks hotel,
Ooty GOLDS and above conference...
Brindavan Garden silvers meet...
Leela palace treats by SUMIT JI...
Quality time with SUJIT JI...
Yelahanka inspirational talk...
Internship completion...
And many more events, yet within 365 days...
Don’t you think our life is expanding!!!
